Isle Royal National Park

This national wilderness area feautres a lodge, campsites and scenic hiking trails in an isolated island setting. No motorized vehicles, or bicycles are allowed on the island. One and two day trips from Grand Portage to Isle Royal are available. Lake Superior, 22 miles east of Grand Portage.
Grand Portage National Monument

Day-use only. The monument features the informative Heritage Center open year round, as well as a re-creation of historic Ojibwe village and Voyageur camp. Enjoy with a guide or on your own. If you are not in an information mood, enjoy a hike on the 1/2 mile up Mount rose for a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
